Sandblasting is generally used to remove paint from the existing pool surface in order to plaster the interior. There are various types of sandblasting, and several materials can be used. Premier uses non toxic dustless sand or soda ash as well as high pressure water. Sandblasting is a major part of pool restoration job in which the pool has been previously painted. The new plaster interior must be applied over a properly prepared concrete surface free of paint.
